Silicone Protective Sleeve also known as Rubber Case, Silicone Cover, Rubber Sleeve and Water Bottle Silicone Sleeve. Silicone Sleeve is made of elastic silicone which is soft and flexible. Sleeve can be made of silicone rubber or elastic plastic materials like EPDM, neoprene, NR, NBR, PVC, TPR, TPU etc. Protective covers are usually used to prevent dust, drops, slips and burns.
The most common protective covers in life are electronic equipment protective covers and water bottle protective covers. The protective case is usually formed by compression mold, and its surface is treated according to different uses and designs. The surface of the protective case is treated by a process such as silk screen painting, embossed logo or hydrographics transfer painting, etc.

Silicone Sleeve Surface Characters & Logo Treatment:
1. Silk Screen Painting
Advantages: Not easy to fade, Light resistance
Disadvantage: Can’t print gradient color, Suitable for simple color patterns
2. Roll Painting
Advantage: Easy to print cylindrical protective case
Disadvantage:Higher cost
3. Hydrographics Transfer Painting
Advantages: Colorful pattern, Pattern individuation, High efficiency
Disadvantages: Not wear resistant, Higher cost
4. Embossed Logo
Embossed Logo: The logo on the surface of the mold is prominent, mold price is lower.
Intaglio Logo: The logo on the surface of the mold is depressed, mold price is higher.
Silicone Sleeve of Two Different Parting Lines
Parting Line Influencing Factors:
Mold's die-cutting edge: If didn't keep good maintainance of mold sharp edge, once it is damaged, the parting line will also become bigger.
Mold surface treatment: It will also influence the parting line, generally, for products with high requirements about parting line, we recommend to do EDM process after CNC process to make the mold surface as texture surface.
Mold Steel Material, Located pins, silicone sleeve surface matte smooth coating can also improve the parting line.
▶Long Sleeve: A separate movable plate needs to be placed in the middle of the upper and lower plates of the mold, and the parting line relatively obvious. Less efficient, more expensive, less perfect in appearance.
▶Short Sleeve: Only need the uper and lower plates. More efficient, cheaper, and perfect appearance.
