Neoprene Seal , also called Neoprene Gasket, Neoprene Sheet, CR Seal & CR Gasket, Neoprene Wahser, which is mainly made by rubber compression mold tooling for Oil Seal.
Neoprene Seal has good physical properties, oil proof, heat & flame resistance, sunlight resistance, ozone resistance, acid & alkali resistance and anti chemical. However, cold tolerance and storage stability is not good.
Neoprene Seal has a good tensile strength, elongation crystalline and adhesion.
Neoprene Seal (CR Seals) are excellent in aging resistance, heat & oil resistance and chemical resistance
Neoprene Seal &Gaskets, which have good weather resistance, ozone resistance and aging resistance, ranks only second to EPR Gasket and II R ( Isobutylene Isoprene Rubber )
Oil resistance ranks only second to that of NBR.
Heat resistance is equal to that of NBR materials.
Neoprene Seals' decomposing temperature is 230～260℃, working in 120～150℃ for a short period and 80～100℃ for a long time, with a certain flame resistance. Inorganic acid and alkali resistance is good. Cold tolerance and insulation are poor.
Rubber Neoprene Seals have bad storage stability, easily appearing self-vulcanization phenomenon and it tends to harden as Mooney Viscosity increases.
